For fifteen years, the Ottawa Folk Festival has been one of the city's major summer music and cultural events. Following five years of limited growth, the festival consulted us to integrate their communications, develop a marketing plan, assist them in reaching new audiences and better define its offering. In addition to a series of new strategies and recommendations, we created a bold new presentation, advertising campaigns, marketing material and merchandise. After a highly successful 2008 event, they have the tools and strategy necessary to grow for years to come.

Since it was constructed in 2001, we’ve been working with The Wakefield Mill to market and promote its award-winning hospitality, spectacular setting and its many services and packages. When a luxury spa was added a few years later, we created a new branding effort and promotional material targeting local audiences, destination tourism, business and government. Advertising and merchandising strategies were developed to capture its charm and set the right tone. Now the region's premier country retreat, The Mill received the 2008 Grand Prix de Tourisme award recognizing them as the best four star auberge in the province of Quebec.

After a period of declining visibility, this Canadian international development organization needed solutions to reach new audiences, attract specialized overseas volunteers, enhance their public engagement work and increase fundraising. They were furnished with a new identity, streamlined messaging, integrated print materials, a targeted national advertising campaign, innovative public awareness events and branding for their various public engagement activities. We provided new outreach collateral, display systems and booths for the International AIDS Conference and concepts for the interior and exterior of their new headquarters. We also coordinated their official grand opening event and managed the process of applying their new communication strategies online.

For the fun of it, we created Le Moo to showcase our abilities by successfully conceiving, implementing, operating and selling an enterprise. From concept to cone, our imagination ran wild with the entire effort and included work on branding, interior design, advertising, merchandising, special events, packaging, menu development and more. The shop quickly became a popular pit-stop for kids, tourists and families during the summer months and was an active participant in the community of Wakefield, Quebec. Le Moo provided us with an outlet to demonstrate our approach to marketing and exhibit our talent for developing memorable and effective brands.

After serving their readership for over thirty years, this popular local publication wanted to update its design and strengthen its brand. They required a new identity to better showcase their publication and an attractive, more efficient layout that was user friendly, easy to reproduce and translated well online. We supplied a new logo, newspaper design, numerous promotional elements, exterior signage and a modular website that could easily be expanded. Since the launch of their new layout, they have enjoyed greater recognition and have received numerous awards for both editorial and publication design.

This was a major event with high expectations as it was the occasion when two established parties merged into a single political initiative. The stakes were high and the timelines were extremely short. They called for a solution that was contemporary, progressive, energetic and engaging for delegates at the events and at home. We designed and supplied all material for the candidate debates in Ottawa and Montreal, as well as for the leadership convention in Toronto. In addition to the event branding, we created the stage concepts for television and produced merchandise, promotional items, signage, programs and other supplementary material.
